The British Beekeepers Association is a charity-based organisation created to promote beekeeping and support beekeepers throughout Britain.
The original brief for this project was to redesign and develop a new site that would appeal to existing members while attracting new ones. The site needed to be fresh and interesting, and would consolidate their existing data-heavy site with a new forum and web shop.
Whiteroom created a great new site that redefined the BBKA's marketing strategy and started a new relationship between our 2 companies that is now in its 4th year. The site features a bespoke CMS system with multi-level access, member's photo gallery, forum, and a wealth of information about beekeeping.
The website has recently been redesigned again, this time to include responsive elements so as to be accessible across all platforms and devices. This new site has seen a serious surge in traffic and is currently attracting more than 80,000 visits (63,000 visitors) each month.
